MAL038 - Alfa Gardens
Description
Alfa Gardens is an artificially constructed dam lake found in the centre of Wied ta’ Campra, located in central Malta, in the outskirts of Ta’ Qali. The dam lake is not accessible to the public because it is built within a private wedding venue. The dam lake covers an approximate area of 1,690m2. Due to the site being within a wedding venue, it is surrounded by concrete and commercial structures. The species present within the basin of the dam lake; Olea europaea, Prunus dulcis, Opuntia ficus-indica and Chamaerops humilis had been artificially planted.
