MAL060 - Ta' Laurenti
Description
Ta’ Laurenti is an artificially constructed pond, located in western Malta between Rabat and Ħad-Dingli. The pond was excavated and is surrounded by a concrete wall. The pond covers an approximate area of 1,190m2 and is not accessible to the public as it is located on privately-owned land behind a residential dwelling. The site is predominantly surrounded by agricultural land and probably being used for irrigation of these fields. The site is not protected by any legislation.
