GOZ017 - Ta' Berrini Pond

Ta’ Berrini Pond is a pond, located in western Gozo, between Santa Luċija and Ta’ Kerċem. This pond covers an area of approximately 1,090m2. The pond is not accessible to the public as it is located behind privately-owned property with no alternative pathways. Industrial and abandoned buildings occupy the north and eastern areas of the pond, whilst agricultural land occupies the south and west. Due to agricultural land being so close, it is likely the pond is being used for the irrigation of these fields. The site is not protected by any legislation
