GOZ019 - Wied tal-Ghajjun

Wied tal-Ghajjun is an artificially excavated pond, located in central Gozo, within Xagħra. This pond covers an area of approximately 1,510m2. The pond is not accessible to the public as it is completely fenced off, on privately-owned land. The pond is surrounded by agricultural land, however. no pipelines were present exiting the site, whether this site is being used. Due to limited accessibility it is unclear what species are present within the pond, however Eucalpytus camaldulensis was present within the basin. The site is not protected by any legislation.
